Whiskers Whitaker, chief photographer at your paper has just informed your managing editor, Oliver O'Blivious, about a scanner report that fire a alarm has been turned in at Julio's Hacienda. Julio's downtown diner is a local favorite famous for its incomparable chili dog. Locals refer to Julios as "Heartburn Hotel." But now there may be more than dyspepsia curling the wallpaper at the popular no-frills diner.
You head for Julio's in the heart of downtown Dulanville, a city of 25,000. Your assignment: Get a straight news story on the fire. With you is Sally Seasoned, whose job is to gather feature material on the fire.
